Case Study – Caithness Horizons

Following a competitive tendering exercise, we designed and built the computer network at the Caithness Horizons facility.

Working with the architects during the planning phase and the subsequent supply & install of all network equipment for both fixed and wireless connections throughout the building.

We also supplied and installed all computer equipment and software licences, including Server, PCs, laptops and printers for the office environment, exhibition displays (inc. theatre) and public and family research areas.

All work was carried out to budget and within a tight deadline, all of which lead up to the opening of the facility in December 2008.

Case Study – D Steven & Son

We provide this traffic and logistics company with all aspects of IT support and hosted email services, and have done so for the past decade.

We also act as an outsource, supporting their traffic management system, which is supplied by a London based company. We often provide 24/7 emergency support as required.

Case Study – Geddes Window Systems

We provide this manufacturing company with all aspects of IT support. We started providing support after a member of staff had completed the installation and configuration of the network and server equipment.

We continue to provide IT support and maintenance on issues relating to upgrades, data backups, wireless connectivity (between workshop buildings), an electronic clocking system and end-user support for software, including specialist manufacturing software, Sage Line 50 and Microsoft applications.

Case Study – Simpson Oils

We were commissioned to design, specify, supply and implement an integrated IT system, including hardware and software, as part of a pilot for the eBaTT run by Highlands and Islands Enterprise. It included network links between multiple office locations and specialist configuration of Sage and Direct Debit software.

Case Study – Organic Surge / Kiarie

We have been providing this locally based manufacturer/online retailer with IT support and hosted email services for the past three years. It involves providing IT support for the head office operations in Wick and remote diagnostics and support for their growing mobile sales team, throughout the UK.
